Thames Valley is asking parents and guardians to confirm whether their children will be attending school in-person in September – or choosing full remote learning at home.
Parents have until Tuesday, August 18 to make their selection on the Parent Portal –  www.tvdsb.ca/parentportal – a key communication tool for families that works on cell phones, tablets and computers.

Thames Valley will be ready to welcome all students back to school with enhanced public health protocols, but is also prepared to provide a blend of in-school and at-home learning if required by COVID-19 conditions in September.

A majority of 43,000 respondents to a survey of Thames Valley families indicated they support their children returning to the classroom in September. 
The voluntary survey found about two-thirds of families would be willing to send their children back to school full-time with enhanced health protocols. The lingering financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to cause increased demand for backpacks and school supplies among students in need when Thames Valley schools re-open in September.
