Welcome to Jeanne Sauvé French Immersion Public School, previously known as Empress Public School. We are a French Immersion school, which means 80% of our daily lessons are taught in French. Our school runs from JK to Grade 8. Our FDK program is an English program, within a French Immersion school, with the expectation that our FDK students will begin French Immersion in Grade 1. The only entry point for students new to French Immersion is Grade 1. Any students in older grades wishing to transfer to Jeanne Sauvé must be coming from a French Immersion school that teaches at least 50% of subjects in French.
