Dress Code

At Jeanne Sauvé French Immersion Public School, our Dress Code allows for the expression of individuality and personal choice while showing a high degree of self-respect, respect for others and respect for the learning environment.

Therefore, staff and students are expected to wear clothing appropriate for school activities where appropriate is defined as:

  •  Clothing must free of inappropriate logos, slogans, phrases and pictures
  •  Undergarments are to be hidden from view
  •  Hats are for outside only
  •  Keep indoor shoes clean
  •  Wear proper shoes for gym class (non-marking soles).
  •  This dress code applies while on school buses and at school based activities or events on and off school property.
